If you're like me, you may feel as if you have tried everything to solve your weight struggle —countless diets, fitness regimes, self development practices, endless promises, and goals—only to end up feeling frustrated, disappointed or unable to maintain your results.
Here's how my approach is different: while dietary choices and exercise are important, my coaching focus is on helping you solve for over-desire for food, over-desire to lose weight, over and over-hunger.

Despite the many theories present in the diet industry, the "how to" of losing weight isn't a secret or very complicated.
So why is it so difficult to lose weight?
Losing weight is challenging because we often get in our own way. Limiting beliefs about ourselves, combined with unhelpful thought patterns and habits around food, keep us stuck.
Many of us who struggle with our weight also struggle with emotional eating, using food to avoid challenging emotions.
I work with you to create awareness around these patterns, helping you put food in its proper place and experience your feelings in a way that moves you forward and enhances your emotional resilience.
I’m Katie
I am a certified life and weight coach, clinical hypnotherapist, and RYT-200 yoga teacher. Previously, I was a middle school math teacher and instructional coach.
After (too many!) years of struggling with emotional eating and weight issues, targeted coaching support transformed this part of my life.
Now, I am committed to helping others overcome these same challenges and live lives of service, passion, creativity, and fun.
